MAIDEN VOYAGE

So, I got home last night and laced up the new riding shoes that came with my new bike. I have never ridden in "clipless" shoes. These are the kind of shoes that "click" into the pedal and "lock" my foot so I can ride more efficiently.

Riding with them was easier than I thought. Dismounting is still an issue, but I'll get the hang of it.

I'm heading out this morning for a 30-mile ride with my neighbor, Bill. I'm hoping (and know we can) to get in 30 miles in well under 2 hours. I'm anxious to see what my average will be on this bike.
