ALL FOR 100
I awoke at 4am (like I normally do) and look out the window. The rain we've been having the past few days is still around. "Not necessarily raining outside, but it's misting enough to be a nuissance" is my analysis of the weather as I sip a fresh cup of coffee from the front porch of the house. The temperature is hovering between 41 and 42 degrees.
So, what do I do? Suit up and head out for a 45-minute, 12.3 mile ride.
The temp actually seemed warmer than what the thermometer was stating. The aforementioned drizzle started seeping through my layers of clothes quicker than I thought. I got done and I was pretty well drenched. Not cold, except for my toes.
I'm 66 miles into 100 at this point. I have a chance to add another 15 to 20 miles this afternoon, and if I can do that, it will leave me with 15-20 miles to do tomorrow morning, clinching my goal of riding 100 miles this week.
Stay tuned.
