CAPTAIN JACK'S RIDE...COMING UP

Bill told me about this ride this morning. I checked it out online and just registered for it. Sweet! it's a 50 mile ride through Union County, NC, where I live. I'm looking forward to it. I hope to do a 50-mile ride prior to this one, but if not, then it will be my 1st 50 mile ride.

There should be a TON of other riders for this thing. It's on May 17th. I've got time to put in a few more miles (hundreds....) before this ride.

Speaking of miles, I can't believe I'm closing in on my 2nd thousand mile plateau. I'm 760 miles or so into it this year. This time around the miles haven't been killing me nearly as much. I'm getting into some good shape here and the miles are easier and easier everyday. Amen to that.
