I RIDE A CANNONDALE, BUT THANK GOD FOR SCHWINN

So, I'm closing in on 200 miles on my new Cannondale. Love that bike. Wouldn't trade it for a million bucks.

With that being said, I have been having issues with finding the right bike computer (speedometer/odometer) for it.

It came with a Sigma BC1600. No magnet though for the fork, rendering that useless. So, I head out and pick up a BELL wireless model. Bell, along with Sigma must be French for "PIECE OF CRAP!" Didn't work at all.

So, I go and get a new magnet to try using the Sigma again. I got the Sigma to work, but the recommended wheel diameter setting was WAY off. I thought maybe I set the mileage to kilometers. Nope. It was just not meant to be.

So, I head over to my trusty GT Mountain bike that has a Schwinn bike computer I've been using for the past 1,700 miles.

The new magnet I got in hopes of using the Sigma works beautifully with the Schwinn computer.

Life is good again. I don't have to "guess" about how many miles I'm doing. Amen!

FYI: I got home from work today and cranked out 22.64 miles. 10.43 more miles to go to reach 100 for the week!

Yeah!
