THIS MORNING I FROZE...

Took 7 days off from riding. I feel refreshed. Renewed. Reinvigorated. Ready to ride. Amen.

I got out for a quick "test" ride of my new headlight/taillight setup. In a nutshell, the taillight is AWESOME. Very bright. Has 4 different settings from solid to blinking to strobe, etc... Fantastic addition to the bike.

The headlight? It stinks. It has all the brightness of a single candle. Not worth the casing it sits in.

So, the search will continue for a suitable headlight.

I did a short (3.14 miles) this morning to test out the light. I would've ridden longer, but I was freezing. I under-dressed for the ride. I haven't done that in a LONG TIME... No fun. I'd rather sweat than freeze. This morning I froze.

I will get out later this morning for at least a 1 hour ride, which will give me 16 to 18 more miles for today.

Kelly's off tomorrow from play practice, so I'm hoping to get out again tomorrow. We'll see.
